We at GLSD Youth Cheer understand that cheerleading can be expensive, which is why we hold regular fundraising events to help offset costs for our cheerleaders and parents. With the help of our generous supporters, we can purchase new equipment, attend events, and host an end-of-the-year banquet that celebrates all that we've accomplished. Fundraising also allows our program to grow for our cheerleaders, providing them a safe space to learn skills for their future.

GIFT CARD TICKET FUNDRAISER
This will be a ticket that includes gift cards as prizes. Each cheerleader will be required to sell approximately 5 tickets at $10 each (depending on the final number of participants for the 2025 cheer season). The winning number will be taken from the first 7 pm PA Pick 3 lottery on July 18, 2025.
● These tickets will be distributed at practice on June 24, 2025 by team parents
● Stubs and money will be due by July 8, 2025
○ Please turn in all stubs and money to Kristen Hochstein during practice, who will be with the K-2 squad
● $35 buyout for this fundraiser
Cash or checks payable to GLSD. All ticket stubs and money are due by the date listed and required to claim the prize. Any ticket stubs/money not turned in will be billed to the cheerleader account. Cheerleader will become ineligible to attend the end-of-year banquet, receive gifts, and sign up for future seasons if their bill is not paid in full.
SCENTS BY STACEY CANDLE FUNDRAISER - REQUIRED
Who does not love a candle! We are excited to support this local business this year through this required fundraiser. These soy candles are made with all natural ingredients from the USA. Fall scents will be available just in time for the season, and there will also be a Latrobe Cheer theme candle as well. Great as gifts or even additions to your own home!
● Order forms will be distributed at practice on 8/5/25 by team parents
● Order forms and money will be due by 8/19/25
● Please turn in all order forms and money to Kristen Hochstein during practice, who will be with the K-2 squad
● Estimated pick-up date- 9/9/25 after/during practice
We are still determining the requirements and buyout option for this fundraiser, which is dependent on the final number of participants for the 2025 cheer season. We also want to support this local business as much as we can and make this fundraiser a great one!
GUN BASH TICKET FUNDRAISER - REQUIRED

We will be hosting a gun bash on 11/9/25 from 12 pm to 5 pm at Huber Hall. We will require each cheerleader to sell tickets throughout the season for this bash. Stay tuned for more information on this such as cost of each ticket, due dates, and cheerleader requirement which will be dependent on the final number of participants for the 2025 cheer season
Community Spirit Days
Join us for Spirit Days at various locations in our community! We’re thrilled to partner with local businesses that will support our organization, and we’ll announce those partnerships soon.
